The leader of the militia, Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, often uses deception to prepare for the subjugation of the Yemeni tribes, as he prompts false reassurances to the tribesmen that they are not targeted in his wars.

It is customary for the Houthi militia to ask tribesmen to neutralize themselves and not intercept them in exchange for false promises that they will not harm them.

More than once, the leader of the Houthi militia said that he does not want more than the "black line", and intends the road to cross from the tribal areas, and this is what happened recently in the Al-Bayda governorate after attacking the Awadh family tribes, as Al-Houthi was not satisfied with the line, but rather went to control the entire region.

Before invading Amran Governorate, Al-Houthi told the tribes that his target was Brigadier General Hamid Al-Qushaibi only, not the city of Amran, but he managed to overthrow the brigade and kill its leader, then he returned to devour the neighboring tribes.

The "Newsyemen" channel, on YouTube, publishes a motion graphic video, showing the tactic of deception used by the Houthi, before the assault on any tribe, a tactic that often begins with calling on tribesmen to stand on neutrality and allow his militia to pass from their areas.
