The Iranian Houthi arm received a new setback in al-Faza farms, south of the Hodeidah governorate, while the joint forces monitored the arrival of militia reinforcements to the outskirts of the city of Hays following the use of the UN truce for military escalation.

Local sources said that violent clashes erupted in Al-Faza, affiliated to Al-Tuhaita District, after the Houthis launched intense fire bombing on villages and farms of citizens in the area, in an attempt to cut off the joint forces' supply line.

The sources explained that the joint forces' response was a deterrent and put out the Houthi fires, and successfully dealt with militia movements east of Al-Faza.

The violent response of the joint forces forced the groups of the Houthi militia to flee towards the Zabid line, leaving behind a number of dead and wounded.

In the context of the reinforcements of the Houthi militia, which has come under the microscope of the joint forces, new reinforcements arrived at farms and valleys in the northeast of the district of Hays.

The reinforcements were stationed in farms owned by residents in "Al-Baghil Village," "Wadi Nakhle", "Wadi Al-Marr," and "Khatm Saqum," according to a statement by the joint forces.

The reinforcements of the Houthi militia, estimated at dozens of elements, armed with medium weapons and mortar artillery, were launched from Iranian arm camps in the districts of Al-Jarahi, Zabid, and Al-Qahrah district near Hays.

And in recent days, "NewsYemen" monitored the Houthi militia’s bringing in motorcycles and the construction of war tunnels, in an indication of great military preparations foreshadowing a large battle in the district of Hays, which has witnessed hit-and-run battles since its liberation in 2018.
