The Houthi militia paid a heavy price for the field escalation in Al-Hoseidah governorate, to harvest the joint forces' fire of prominent leaders in the ranks of the Houthi militia in painful strikes, the most important of which was in the Al-Duraihimi and Hays districts.

A military source said that the commander, known as Abu Al-Batoul Al-Aqhoumi, assuming the rank of major general, was killed on the western coast, and he was working as a mobilization official in the Fifth Military Region.

The sources confirmed that Al-Aqhoumi is one of the top leaders of Houthi militia who received previous training in Iran, and he is close to its so-called leader: Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, and was killed in the recent battles that broke out on the western coast, after the Houthi militia launched attacks on the liberated areas south of Hodeidah.

The joint forces also announced the killing of the leaders of the Houthi militia, Abu Muhammad Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Hulaisi, and Abu Abdulmalik, along with a number of militia members by artillery fire of the joint forces, while they were trying to carry out an attack on the liberated areas from the eastern side of Hays.

And it stated, in a statement, that the joint forces arrested more than a month ago, a Houthi gang for smuggling Iranian weapons, one of them was Utbah Mahmoud al-Hulaisi, the cousin of Abu Muhammad al-Hulaisi.

In the context of the field battles, the joint forces broke a large-scale attack launched by the Houthi militia on the Kilo 16 area, east of Hodeidah.

And field sources said that armed groups belonging to Iran's arm launched a massive attack, using all kinds of weapons and missiles, and retreated due to painful strikes by the joint forces, as they were inflicted dead, wounded and lost equipment.
