Aden, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The Prophet's birthday is just Houthi slogans and colors devoid of any religious rituals that have nothing to do with the noble Prophet’s guidance and the noble Sunnah.

Celebrating the birthday of the Prophet in Sana'a is just occasions for looting, a season for collection under religious names, and a date with a harsh wave of royalties imposed on the poor Yemenis in Sanaa to be lavishly spent by the Houthi masters and their followers, at a time when the population is living in starvation and salary cuts for 6 years ago.

Contrary to all religious norms that make the Prophet's birthday an opportunity to remind the morals of the prophets and urge their commitment, the Houthi celebrations were dominated by the presence of the slogan of the scream over all others, which is an authoritarian political slogan that has no connection to the occasion, and the paintings, posters and leaflets in the name of the Prophet were just a means of consecrating the Houthi culture and its literature and the publicity of the symbols of the group with their phrases and traditions, while the monuments and hadiths of the Prophet ceased to exist.

The militias use this occasion, in a way that they celebrate, to "fuel the narrow factional tendencies that reinforce hatred and feed hatred within Yemeni society."

Activists on social networks from the city of Sana'a launched a campaign of criticism against the Houthi militia for its preoccupation with celebrations, while Sanaa groaned from the horror of the harsh conditions.

Afnan Al-Hamiri said on Twitter: “I think if there were green bags containing meals that satisfy the hunger of the homeless, or a green school uniform for an orphan student who could not ensure his education, or a green coat that warms a poor from the cold, or perhaps we can raise the infrastructure of this country while preserving on green, we will also pray on the Prophet, and we will see the green traffic lights and see green farmlands and green gardens.

In the context, Zainab said: "These are supporters of Al-Lat and Al-Uzza, they only care to fill their stomachs with money."

While Reem Abdullah said: “Celebrations do not please our beloved Mustafa, and people are hungry.”

The streets of Sana'a were filled with slogans and green banners calling on people to celebrate the Prophet’s birthday, coupled with the Houthi group’s slogan calling for “Death to America and Death to Israel,” and reminding them of Ali bin Abi Talib's state, as they are his dynasty, exploiting this occasion to practice collecting money from people and increase its authoritarian grip on people, as directives are issued through some government departments obliging shop owners to raise green flags and paint their store doors.
