Al-Houthi militia admits the death of 11 military leaders

Today, Sunday, the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, acknowledged the death of a number of its military leaders on a number of fronts during the past two days.

The "Saba" news agency, which is under the control of the Houthi militia, reported, in two separate reports, that more than 17 militia members had been killed in separate areas of Yemen, confirming that the group had buried the bodies of 11 of its field military leaders, during the past hours.

The agency confirmed in its first news the funeral of 8 of the dead leaders, in addition to 5 of its members, without disclosing the place of their death, while in the second news it mentioned the funeral of three military leaders in the Bajil district of Hodeidah governorate, who fell on the fronts of the West Coast.

According to the agency, the militias buried, yesterday morning, Saturday, the bodies of 8 dead leaders in the governorates of Sanaa, Amran, Dhamar, Hajjah and Saada, and Al-Saada, the leaderships are: Colonel Khaled Abdulrahman Al-Mahanqi, Lieutenant Colonel Moqbel Muhammad Farhan, Major Yasser Qayed Al Shafi and Captain Jalal Abdo Al-Hamli, Captain Yahya Hassan Al-Rasha, Captain Taha Ali Al-Salai, Captain Fadl Muhammad Al-Abal, and First Lieutenant Abdulmughni Ali Al-Hitar.

The bodies of three of its leaders were also buried in the Bajil district in Al-Hodeidah governorate, and they are: Major “Omar Hassan Muhammad Shalaa”, Lieutenant Colonel “Hassan Muhammad Muhammad Shalaa”, and Second Lieutenant “Ammar Omri Hassan Al-Mashaabi.”
