On Sunday, the joint forces repelled two attacks launched by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, in the Haiss front, south of Hodeidah Governorate, in the west of the country, days after a similar attack was broken on the same front.

The staff of the 11th Brigade, the giants, Ayman Maresh, told "NewsYemen" that the Houthi militia carried out two infiltration attempts from the areas of its stationing in Al-Jarahi District towards the joint forces' sites in the Hays district.

He added that the Houthi militia used various types of heavy weapons and artillery shells in the attack, which lasted about an hour.

He confirmed that the joint forces fought violent clashes with the Houthi militia for an hour, which ended in the death and injury of dozens of the attackers, and the militia retreated.

Meanwhile, the Houthi militia resorted to launching artillery shelling on civilian neighborhoods in Beit Maghari, northwest of the city center of Hays, on the western coast, in retaliation for the heavy losses incurred in the attack.

The Staff of the War of the Eleventh Brigade, the giants, Ayman Maresh, in the context of his statement to "NewsYemen", called on the legitimate government to cancel the "Stockholm" agreement, pointing out that the Houthi militia continues to exploit it in mobilizing and building combat fortifications and attacking residential areas in Hodeidah governorate.
