Militants affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood militia executed a citizen while returning to his home, yesterday evening, Sunday, north of Taiz, central Yemen.
A local source told (NewsYemen) that the citizen Safwan Muhammad Farhan Al-Hamidi was subjected to a field execution by gunmen affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, Sunday night. At the point of Jabal Jarrah, north of Taiz.
According to the source, the commander of the Jabal Jarra checkpoint, Hamada al-Aswad, and his armed men executed Safwan al-Hamidi, who had returned from Saudi Arabia a few days ago, under the pretext of not stopping to inspect the unofficial point.
The execution of expatriate Safwan comes a day after unknown gunmen assassinated Abdulwahid Ali and his brother in Al-Ash'ab district in Jabal Habashi district.
