Abyan, NewsYemen:

Hundreds of people from Abyan Governorate, southern Yemen, on Monday, protested to demand the removal of the Brotherhood militia from the coastal "Shuqra" area.

The participants cut off the international line linking the governorates of Abyan and Hadramout in protest against the presence of the Brotherhood militia in the city.

The protesters accused the Brotherhood of rebelling against the Riyadh Agreement, and refusing to withdraw from the city according to the timetable.

They pointed out that the Brotherhood forces refused to repair the electricity transmission lines to the city, as the outage continued for more than 10 months, in addition to the deterioration of service conditions in the coastal city.

They also accused it of targeting the headquarters of the Saudi Military Commission charged with overseeing the implementation of the military arrangements for the mechanism to accelerate the Riyadh Agreement.
