Taiz, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

Local sources reported that the city of Taiz is witnessing a suffocating crisis in household gas.

According to the sources, the city is facing a lack of domestic gas fuel, which has caused great suffering for the local population to obtain their needs of the material.

Residents in the governorate complained of an unprecedented increase in the value of the gas cylinder, after the de facto authority empowered new agents to distribute the gas.

According to local sources, who told NewsYemen, that the price of one cylinder has reached ten thousand riyals, while it has become non-existent and is sold only on the black market established by the de facto authority for profit.

The gas cylinder was sold for three thousand riyals, and this price increased many times, amid the suffering of the population.

The sources accused the de facto authority of engaging in work on the black market, monopolizing household gas fuel and selling it at double prices.
