On Monday, the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, launched retaliatory bombing operations in Hays, south of Hodeidah, after their miserable attempts to create fortifications and dig trenches in Al-Udain Junction and valleys northwest of the city of Hays, while they tried to infiltrate Al-Tuhaita.
Field military sources indicated that clashes were renewed in the Hays sector in Hodeidaj governorate, due to escalating violations by the Houthi militia, Iran's arm, to the ceasefire in the West Coast front.
The sources stated that the Iranian militias have, for the third day in a row, resumed their miserable attempts to establish fortifications and dig trenches at Al-Udain Junction and valleys northwest of the city of Hays after receiving new reinforcements from the Ibb governorate.
The sources indicated that units of the joint forces clashed with the militias for about two hours with medium weapons and forced them to flee towards the administrative borders of the Ibb governorate after killing and wounding a number of its members, noting that the militias left behind four bodies of their members in the area of engagement.
It pointed out that the militias used mortar shells extensively, most of them in residential neighborhoods on the northwestern outskirts of the district center.
In addition, the terrorist Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, launched violent artillery shelling of residential neighborhoods in the city of Hays, south of Hodeidah, as part of its daily violations of the UN armistice.
Local sources said that the Houthi militia stationed in the rural villages of Hais launched a random bombardment operation with a number of mortar shells towards residential neighborhoods and homes west of the city center.
The sources added that the bombing was in retaliation, which caused a state of panic and fear among the people, especially women and children, as a result of the hysterical bombing.
It is noteworthy that the Iranian militias have intensified their violations of the past few days in the West Coast front, and in particular the Hays sector, without achieving the slightest goal.
The Houthi militia also carried out an infiltration attempt east of Al-Tuhaita during the past hours, which ended in doubling their losses at the hands of the joint forces.
A military source stated that the joint forces clashed with infiltrating elements of the Houthi militia who tried to penetrate the contact lines east of Al-Tuhaita city.
He affirmed that the Houthi militia received heavy losses among its infiltrating elements at the hands of the joint forces during the confrontations, as a result of their violations of the ceasefire.
