Mocha, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

On Wednesday, a motorbike driver was killed in a landmine explosion, in the Al-Ghubaira area, east of Mocha District.

According to the testimony of a local source, NewsYemen, the motorcyclist Fuad Ali Duraid left the village of Jerashyah, in the Hadiya district, east of Mocha, to buy some items from the Sabla market, which is part of the village of Al-Jumaa, in a habit that he does every day, before he was killed in the explosion of the Houthi mine.

According to residents, the area was safe from mine accidents, until recently, it is likely that elements linked to the Houthi militia planted the mines recently.

Only one accident with a landmine explosion was recorded in a car transporting supplies at the beginning of 2018, which resulted in the amputation of the feet of a citizen working in the sale of firewood.
