Al-Duraihimi security and the joint forces launch a massive security campaign

Al-Duraihimi Security Department, with the participation of the joint forces, launched a massive security campaign on Monday to track down and arrest smuggling and sabotage gangs and arms dealers in the directorate.


The campaign came based on the security services receiving complaints and reports of harassment of merchants and sellers in the qat market, according to the statement of Colonel Abdul Jabbar Baakar, Director of Security for Al-Duraihimi Directorate, indicating that the main role in this campaign is for the joint forces, stressing that the previous security campaign that was carried out Under the leadership of Brigadier General Naguib Ahmed Warak in the Al-Khawkha district, it achieved the desired results, and reiterated that this campaign will have positive results that the residents of Al-Duraihimi district will experience.


Baakar explained that this security campaign aims to strike with an iron hand on smugglers of oil derivatives and weapons and gangs of sabotage and robbery and to protect the shops in the markets of Al-Durayhimi district from acts of bullying.


 About the participation of the joint forces in this campaign

 Majed Al-Asadi clarified that it comes based on the directives of the Joint Forces Command, especially the National Resistance led by Brigadier General Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh, and the Commander of the Giants Brigades, Sheikh Abu Zar'ah Al-Muharrami, in order to achieve (control and linkage), secure the lives of citizens and pursue smugglers, and control any actions that breach security inside Al-Duraihimi district.


The Al-Duraihimi Security Department and the military police of the joint forces participated in the campaign in their various formations.


It is noteworthy that the Governorate Security Administration launched a similar campaign last December, during which it managed to raid the hideouts of smuggling and sabotage gangs in remote areas of the liberated districts .. A number of vehicles used to smuggle oil derivatives were seized to the Houthi-controlled areas, and a number of smugglers and saboteurs were seized.
