Aden, NewsYemen:

The Saudi prince, Abdulrahman bin Musaed, said that the Kingdom's initiative to end the war in Yemen revealed that the Houthis' decision depends on Iran, whatever the circumstances on the Yemeni arena, and indicated that the ball is now in the court of the American administration, which raised the group from the list of terrorist organizations.

Ibn Musaed said on his Twitter account: “The most important thing in the initiative is that it will clearly reveal that the Houthis are nothing but a negotiating card for Iran, and they are completely dependent on Iran, regardless of the situation on Yemeni lands.  Therefore, there is no doubt that they will reject the initiative, "he said.

He added, "Even if Saudi Arabia announces a ceasefire and unilateral raids, the Houthis will send ballistic missiles and drones to Saudi Arabia targeting civilians, and our heroes in air defense will respond, as usual, with the help of God, which will restore the situation to what it was before the initiative was launched."

Ibn Musaed concluded by saying in his last tweet: “With Saudi Arabia launching its initiative and the welcome international interaction and the Houthi’s rejection of it - in fact Iran’s rejection - the ball is in the court of the US administration that removed the Houthi group from the list of terrorism recently! Saudi Arabia did what it owed and proved what it didn’t need.  To prove that it is fighting an Iranian militia on its borders, "he said.

The Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, had announced the details of the initiative launched by the Kingdom to end the war in Yemen, which included a comprehensive ceasefire, the opening of Sanaa International Airport, the deposit of taxes and customs revenues from the port of Hodeidah in the Central Bank of Yemen, which the Houthis rejected on condition.  Stopping what they described as the "Saudi aggression" against Yemen before submitting initiatives.
