Aden, NewsYemen:

The Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, accused the United Nations World Food Program of delivering a shipment of corrupt and unfit for human consumption humanitarian food aid to the port of Hodeidah, in the west of the country.

Houthi media reported that the General Authority for Standardization and Quality Control in the port of Hodeidah refused entry to 250,000 bags of spoiled Turkish flour, because it was not suitable for human use.

added that "the shipment was on board the ship (Gloreus) of the World Food Program," while there was no official comment from the program.

The Houthis had previously accused the World Food Program of distributing spoiled food to millions of Yemenis, which the United Nations agency denied.
