Aden, NewsYemen:

The activist, Jalal Al-Salahi, revealed new information about the role of Oman and Qatar in supporting the establishment of armed militias in Taiz through Brotherhood leader Hammoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, as well as the activities of what has become known as the “Muscat cell”, which includes politicians, tribesmen, and media professionals from the Muslim Brotherhood and Houthi groups in Yemen.

Oman and Qatar are working through the "Muscat cell" to gather the Brotherhood, the Houthis, and leaders of the pro-Iranian movement, to confuse the Arab coalition, cast doubt on Saudi intentions towards Al-Mahra Governorate, distort the role of the UAE and its humanitarian efforts, and promote an alternative tripartite coalition.

Al-Salahi spoke, in a video broadcast, on his Facebook account, about the involvement of Qatari and Omani intelligence in fabricating a dangerous file, motivated by accusing Saudi Arabia and the UAE of assassinations in Yemen.

He confirmed that he had obtained dangerous documents from this file, including audio recordings of Omani and Qatari intelligence officers, and promised to publish them later.

Al-Salahi, who was in Muscat recently, said that "Oman has become a vector of Iranian military support for the Houthi militia in Yemen, adding that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard smuggled ballistic missile platforms to the Houthis through the Sultanate."

He included a large list of Yemeni politicians, activists, and media professionals loyal to the Houthis and the Brotherhood, who reside in the Sultanate of Oman, and who enjoy significant financial support from the Royal Office.

Among them are Yasser Al-Yamani, Hammoud Al-Mikhlafi, Anis Mansour, and Mukhtar Al-Rahbi, all of whom adopt positions against the Arab coalition in Yemen.

Al-Salahi said that the Muslim Brotherhood had infiltrated the Omani Royal Office, which is concerned with the Yemeni file, noting in the context that Qatar controls the office through a representative from the intelligence.

He explained that the financial support provided through the Omani Royal Office to Yemeni personalities and authorities comes from Qatar, including the allocations of the pro-Brotherhood tribal leader in Al-Mahra Governorate, Ali Salem Al-Huraizi.

Al-Salahi stated that what is known as the "Muscat cell" receives instructions from the Houthi militia spokesman, Muhammad Abdul Salam Falita, pointing out that Brotherhood and Houthi leaders hold regular meetings in Oman hotels.

The role of Muscat in Yemen, which was trying to portray itself as a mediator, increased with the arrival of Saudi forces affiliated with the Arab coalition to Al-Mahra Governorate on the border with Oman and their work to control smuggled shipments, including spare parts for ballistic missiles and drones used by the Houthis to target Saudi territory.

Oman was publicly involved in the Yemen war after it was seeking to play a hidden role from under the table to support the Houthis politically and diplomatically by hosting their delegations in Muscat, and this went beyond supporting them financially and militarily by sending shipments of weapons and military equipment, many of which were seized before they reached areas under the control of the Houthis.
