The late President Ali Abdullah Saleh was not spared from holding the Brotherhood of Yemen responsible for the Houthi coup, the summer of 94 war, and “hangers”, which the Brotherhood threw at Saleh throughout his rule, over and over again, even though they were partners in governance.
With Saleh’s departure, it was the beginning of the end for the lies of the Yemeni Brotherhood, which they accused him of, especially the “family army”, control of “state institutions” and “corruption”, as the reality of the situation proved that the man was not running state institutions, and he was not The actual ruler of the army.
In the wake of the plight of Saleh’s departure, the Brotherhood was dancing with joy at the man’s stepping down from power in the summer of 2012, with loose promises, to improve conditions for the better, but the country slipped into the unknown, as Yemen went to a coup, war, famine, cut off salaries of state employees, and lawlessness , and the collapse of the currency, in addition to dividing the country into states.
The Brotherhood and its ally President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi have not succeeded in improving the situation in the country or defeating the Houthi militia since the summer of 2012, nor have they succeeded in the war since the summer of 2015, and they were the most corrupt, and even an obstacle to stability in the south, where the war gave them another opportunity to establish Armed militia, they went to fight away from Sana'a, towards Aden.
With the deterioration of the economic, service and security conditions, the interruption of salaries, and the spread of corruption during the era of Hadi and the Brotherhood, the majority of Yemenis are recalling and praising the Saleh period.
Brotherhood and the war of 2015
In the context, the Yemeni politician, Fahd Talib Al-Sharafi, considered that the brothers of Yemen were the executive party in the conspiracy to thwart the coalition and maintain the presence, weapons, influence and control of the Houthi militia over the northern regions.
While the activist, Nabil Al-Hayani, saw that the brothers of Yemen were the catastrophic cause that ignited the war and deliberately prolonged it and became sustenance from the suffering of the two peoples in the north and south, after they remained for more than two decades under the umbrella of the authority Dracula (vampires) who drained wealth until they destroyed the plow And the offspring, and they still are - he said.
One catastrophe after another
From the catastrophe of overthrowing or ending the Saleh regime, which led to the collapse of the country, the Brotherhood quickly turned towards another catastrophe and other hangovers, which is to fight the efforts of the United Arab Emirates, in Yemen in general, and in the south in particular, which led to the return of al-Qaeda activity in the south.. In the north, the Brotherhood's evasions were present in the war, which resulted in the failure of the battle and the consolidation of the Houthis.
Although the Brotherhood has plunged the country into one catastrophe after another, they blame others, such as the Emirates, and Ali Abdullah Saleh, even when he is gone.
