Sana'a, NewsYemen:

A violent explosion rocked large parts of the governorate, Sana'a, late at night, Wednesday, August 25, and the sound of the explosion was heard on a large scale in the outskirts of Sana'a.

Local sources believe that the explosion of a ballistic missile exploded during an attempt by the Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - to launch it towards the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

On Wednesday morning, coalition fighters launched a series of raids on Houthi militia sites in the Marib and Sanaa governorates.

Earlier, the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced that the Saudi air defenses had intercepted and destroyed a booby-trapped march launched by the Houthi militia towards Khamis Mushait, southern Saudi Arabia.

The coalition confirmed that the hostile Houthi militia continued its attempts to target civilians and civilian objects.

Last Thursday, the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced that Saudi air defenses had intercepted and destroyed a booby-trapped drone in Yemeni airspace that was launched towards the Kingdom.
