Sana'a, NewsYemen, private:

Educational sources in the capital, Sana'a, said that the Houthi militia sent a circular to all public and private schools, allocating the morning school radio to talk about "Hussain bin Ali" and the battle of Karbala.

NewsYemen sources said that the circular obligated all schools to dedicate morning radio stations from mid-August to the tenth of next September, to talk about "the martyrdom of Hussein and the battle of Karbala, and to highlight the importance of Hussein as the grandson of the Prophet, attacking Muawiyah, Yazid, and the Umayyad Caliphate."

The sources indicated that the Houthi militia threatened to take punitive measures against anyone who violates the circular, especially in private schools.

Al-Houthi militia exploits innovated religious occasions to consolidate its sectarian and racist ideas, which it claims the right to rule based on historical delusions.
