Yafae , NewsYemen, Private:

Unexpectedly, the national campaign to support the project ("Batis Ma'riban Labous") was met with great interaction, and it was able to collect donations of more than one billion riyals in less than a week.

The campaign came as a result of recent calls by activists and some leaders from the sons of Yafa to implement the project, turning the calls into an organized campaign and an institutional entity that includes a supreme administrative body of prominent leaders, including the leader of the Giants Brigades Abu Zara’a al-Muharrami, a member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Abdul Rahman Sheikh, and a number of military, civil and community leaders  From the sons of Yafae.

The project, which is considered the most important and most beneficial of the youth projects, according to the project's official page on "Facebook", which indicated that the campaign was launched after the project stumbled due to the suspension of its approved funding from the State of Qatar.

The 76 km-long road aims to connect the eight districts of Yafae, distributed between the governorates of Lahj and Abyan, and is "a lifeline for all Yafa's residents, as it will link the areas of Yafa' al-Jabal among them, linking the areas of Yafa' al-Jabal to Yafae' al-Sahel, and contributing to breaking the isolation imposed on the mountainous areas."  , says the leader of the Transitional Council, Abdul Rahman Sheikh.

Last Sunday, the campaign announced the launch of a donation campaign in favor of the project, which had a great response from Yafae's sons at home and abroad, to be able to collect more than one billion Yemeni riyals by Friday evening.

The fundraising campaign official and advisor to the project’s Supreme Committee, Abu Anas Al-Safi, said on his official Facebook page that the Yafa tribes in their ten offices crossed one billion Yemeni riyals, Friday evening, and that the donations entered the second billion.

The launch of this project comes within what has become known as the “road revolution” in the Yafae regions, where many roads were built during the past six years with donations from its people, to paint a luminous picture in the darkness of the difficult conditions left by the war.

The tendency of the people of Yafa to build roads with their own efforts is a natural result of the legitimacy completely abandoning the provision of any basic services to the liberated cities, especially the temporary capital, Aden, in addition to providing them to remote villages and districts.

Paradoxically, at a time when the sons of Yafae were launching their campaign to realize their dream of building the Bates-Labous road between the mountains to link 8 districts distributed between two governorates, the legitimacy leadership was heaping praises on Saudi Arabia for saving its face by repairing two of the most important vital roads.

Parliament Speaker Sultan al-Barakani tweeted, on his Twitter page, to talk about his visit to the SDRPY and my meeting with Ambassador Muhammad Al-Jaber, to announce that the High Quarter Foundation will start implementing the Al-Abr Road within a week, and he also said that the tender for the Haija Al-Abed Road will be announced within 15 days.

The path of Al aber represented a disgrace to the corruption of legitimacy and its failure to maintain the only artery that currently connects Yemen and Saudi Arabia, while the Haija al-Abd method represents the only artery for the city of Taiz, which is besieged by the Houthi militia.

Two roads represent a lifeline for the areas of legitimacy and their influence, and they have remained a symbol of death and siege for the residents of these areas and the Yemenis in general, despite the enormous resources that legitimacy derives from these areas, primarily gas and oil revenues.
