Taiz, NewsYemen:

Brigade 22 Mika of the Taiz axis admitted breaking into the apartment of a handicapped student and confiscating her phone, in clear violation of all international humanitarian laws and covenants and the morals and customs of Yemenis.

Brigade 22 Mika published, on its Facebook page, what it said was a clarification regarding the student, Najeba Ali Aklan, which included accusing the disabled student of photographing military sites and sending the pictures to a university doctor in an attempt to cover up the scandal of assaulting a woman and a disabled woman at the same time.

Brigade 22 Mika said, "We received a report from an individual while he was passing through one of the front lines of the fighting with the Houthi militia that the student, Najeeba, filmed the army's positions on the front lines."

The Major General added, while we were confirming the incident, we contacted one of her relatives, as she lives alone in the house, so some of the assigned individuals went to the aforementioned house and knocked on the door and asked permission to enter, and she gave them permission.

The statement of Brigade 22 Mika stated an explicit admission that the student Najeba's phone was confiscated and searched by her relative, who the general said was called to storm the student's residence.

Brigade 22 Mika said that its members had found pictures of important sites belonging to the National Army, and had sent them to a university doctor via WhatsApp.

The 22nd Mika Brigade confirmed that its members removed the photos from the phone and warned the student against repeating the filming, as it is completely forbidden, according to the orders and directives of the military leadership.

While Brigade 22 Mika admitted storming the student's apartment, he went to express his regret for what was stated in an audio recording of the student, who considered them completely untrue.

The student, Najeba Aklan, denied the account of the 22nd Mika Brigade, and confirmed that her relative, whom the 22nd Mika Brigade said he had summoned to enter her residence, came after the attack and not with the intruders.

Activists considered the accusation of the 22nd Brigade Mica to the student that her personal phone contains pictures of military sites is an accusation by the perpetrators, not a neutral account, and they are opponents.

They considered the problem when the security services and the army provide the killers with protection and justify their crimes.

They emphasized that soldiers storming the apartment of a handicapped student is a crime, and it was supposed to assign a female police force and take legal measures with such a case of accusation.

Activists questioned the reason for deleting the photos, while the photos were supposed to be preserved as evidence of the student's accusation.

Violations of civilians by the army forces, affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, continue in Taiz, to the extent that the residence of a disabled female university student is stormed and assaulted.
