Shabwa, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

Since the Brotherhood took control of Shabwa governorate in August of 2019, the governorate has turned into the most important artery feeding the besieged Houthi group, which was experiencing setbacks on the fronts of the West Coast and Al Dhalea due to the lack of support, most notably the support for oil derivatives.

As soon as the Brotherhood managed to get out of Shabwa governorate, they opened roads to secretly support the Houthi group for a short period, but later they provide support before everyone's eyes, including the leadership of the Arab coalition.

The opening of the Qena port in Shabwa governorate came as an affirmation of the Houthi-Brotherhood coordination because of the presence of a sea port that feeds the group away from the eyes of the coalition, and things went as planned by the two groups.

The port, which the Brotherhood media spoke of, came for the sake of the governorate and importing fuel through it to be distributed to citizens at low prices, which later proved to be media bangs aimed at obtaining the support of the citizen and public opinion, and then the governorate witnessed the most increase among all governorates in fuel prices and suffocating crises.

The Oil Company in Shabwa Governorate announced, a few weeks ago, raising fuel prices, so that the 20-liter of oil reached 14,000 riyals, which is the highest among all governorates.

The governorate also witnessed power outages due to fuel running out, which made the citizens remember the media statements that preceded the opening of the port and its successes that Ibn Adiou had talked about.

According to citizens in Shabwa governorate, Qena port has turned into a supply line for the Houthi group, and Shabwa has nothing to do with it.

Hundreds of trucks loaded with fuel enter the areas of the Iranian militias, coming from the port of Qena, officially through Khora and Wadi Dhara in the Hajar area, and under the protection of the forces affiliated with the Brotherhood that secure the trucks to the border of Al-Bayda, where the Houthi militias control.

Observers believe that the port does not only supply the Houthi militia with fuel, as it has become the first supply of weapons, equipment and drones targeting Saudi Arabia, the southern forces, and the forces of the West Coast.

Following the events in Al-Mahra governorate, which was the first way to supply militias through the arms of Qatar and Turkey in the governorate, the Brotherhood resorted to the Qena port, which is not supervised by the coalition, to smuggle weapons and military equipment to the Houthi group.

Journalist Saleh Hagros said in his Facebook post that in 2015, smugglers opened the Qena port and imported oil through this port, as the governorate witnessed a significant improvement in fuel prices and this was in the interest of the governorate.

Haqrous indicated that the Brotherhood opened the port on 13/1/2021, and the price of the oil can at that time was 6600, and today, 8 months after its opening, the price of the plate reached 13,600, indicating that the opening of the port was not for the benefit of the citizen, but for the benefit of the Houthi group and a group of influential people in the local authority in the governorate.

The journalist Hagros indicated that the authority in charge of the port refuses to allow traders to import through the port and monopolizes it for one of the powerful traders, who smuggles it to the Houthi militias, and the governorate benefits nothing from it.

Haqrous continued in his publication, "The operation of the Qena port and its use to import oil derivatives for Shabwa governorate revealed to us that the process of operating it during the era of smugglers was in the service and interest of the governorate and the citizen, but during the Brotherhood era, it was unfortunately in the service of the Brotherhood themselves and the Houthis, and even enabled them to create huge fortunes thanks to  The port's monopoly on them, as well as the smuggling of oil derivatives that take place in the governorate, especially those of the Houthi militias in northern Yemen.

Enough of bids and deception. This is the truth as it is for those who want it."

Regarding the exposure of the Houthi Brotherhood's service to the public, the southern politician "Ahmed al-Rubaizi" said that the joint coordination between the Yemeni brothers and their followers in the authority of Shabwa governorate, and the well-known Houthi agents in the governorate appeared to the public in the governorate recently.

Al-Rubaizi pointed out that this service came with external coordination and resulted in the announcement of the so-called coordination of the Balhaf sit-in, similar to what is happening in Al-Mahra Governorate, by the so-called “Al-Huraizi”, who is known for his relationship and association with the Houthi militia.

Al-Rubaizi indicated that the war of the two groups has become one and targets the south, even if its methods are different.

And he said in a tweet to him: "The crimes committed by the Houthi militia against the south and its armed forces are undoubtedly horrific, and they are war crimes, from an enemy that confronts us face to face, and the most horrific of them are the crimes of hatred and maliciousness of the forces of systematic terrorism of the Brotherhood's Reform Party, which controls the legitimacy decision, the war of services, and starvation  and the non-payment of the salaries of the southern forces.
