Al-Dhalea..Houthi attack broke out in Habeel Yahya sector in Al-Husha

Al Dhale, NewsYemen.

 The southern forces, stationed in the Habeel Yahya sector of Al-Dhalea governorate, broke out, on Saturday morning, an attack launched by the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, towards the site of Al-Hurra and Al-Shahid Qurod, south of the town of Habeel Yahya, northeast of Al-Husha district.

Field military sources stated that the Houthi militia attempted a surprise attack on the units of the First Brigade, the Thunderbolt, stationed in the Al-Hurra and Al-Shaheed sites.

It said, that the militia received direct strikes that made it lose its offensive patterns, which made its elements flounder in the battlefield amid an unorganized withdrawal that made it vulnerable to direct attacks by the southern armed forces' fire, which inflicted heavy losses on its members.

According to the sources, the two sides used various types of weapons in the attack, including Kalashnikovs, as the battle approached, and the Houthi militias returned, heavy with losses.

According to the field commander in the 1st Sa’iqa Brigade Asaad al-Naqib, he explained to a NewsYemen reporter, that the Houthi militia attempted a surprise attack this morning, Saturday, at eight o’clock, on the position of the southern forces stationed in the Al-Hurra site and the site of the martyr, and the forces of the 1st Sa’iqa Brigade stationed in the Habeil Yahya sector quickly confronted them.

He added, "The attackers were dealt with with the strength, steadfastness and determination of our forces, which caused the attacking forces to be dead and wounded."
