Sanaa..A traffic policeman was killed by the Houthi militia

On Saturday, September 4, 2021, Ahmed Nashwan, the assistant to the Sana’a traffic police, was killed by armed bullets in the Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen.

The crime occurred when a (looted) military patrol carrying elements of the Houthi militia collided with a taxi for a citizen in what was called the (lighter) tour located in the North Sixty Street, near the College of Medicine and Al-Iman University.

According to sources close to the traffic policeman who spoke to (Newsmen), the traffic police stopped the (looted) military patrol and demanded armed men on board to repair the taxi, which caused serious material damage.

The sources indicated that the driver of (the kit) from the people of Saada governorate opened fire with a machine gun on the traffic policeman / Ahmed Nashwan (from the people of Al-Hima district, Sana’a governorate), killing him.

And an exchange of fire took place between members of a police patrol and armed men accompanying the driver of the crew, who fled to a nearby hotel to close the hotel's doors and arrest him there.

Traffic policemen and citizens of the Al-Hima Internal Directorate gathered in the crime area, demanding the arrest and trial of the offender, while the body of the traffic policeman was deposited in a hospital refrigerator.
