Aden, NewsYemen:

On Sunday, the Saudi Ministry of Defense announced the interception of 3 ballistic missiles and 3 booby-trapped aircraft, launched by the Houthi militia towards the eastern region, injuring two children in Dammam.

The spokesman for the ministry, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, said that the air defenses destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis from Sanaa using civilian objects towards the eastern region, according to the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Al-Maliki confirmed that the interception operation resulted in shrapnel falling over the Dammam suburb neighborhood, which resulted in the injury of a Saudi boy and girl, and 14 houses were slightly damaged.

The Saudi defense spokesman said: "This barbaric and irresponsible behavior by the militia in attempting to target civilians and civilian objects contradicts heavenly values and humanitarian principles. It also reflects the reality of the conduct of military operations on the ground, the deterioration of the militia's position on the fronts and its loss of important field leaders."
