Mocha, NewsYemen, private:

The Director of the Tourism Office in the Mocha Directorate, Dr.  Jalal Mansour, said that many historical buildings are in urgent need of urgent restoration.

Mansour added, in an exclusive statement to Newsemen, that failure to do so exposes the historical buildings to the risk of collapse, explaining that buildings dating back about 300 years, collapsed due to the lack of financial support, to preserve them.

He pointed out that buildings dating back to 300 years ago, such as the Italian Consulate, are in danger of collapsing, and they urgently need a restoration process before the disaster strikes.

He said that the Al-Shazly Mosque, the oldest historical mosque in Mocha, had the opportunity to restore it, expressing his thanks to the leader of the National Resistance, head of the Political Bureau, for directing him to finance the restoration operations.

The Director of the Tourism and Culture Office in Mokha appealed to UNESCO to work to preserve the archaeological buildings in the district, by financing restoration operations.
