The death toll from the Houthi missile attack on Marib has risen to 35, including children and women

The death toll of the massacre committed by the Houthi militia, on Sunday, in a residential neighborhood in the city of Marib, by three ballistic missiles, has risen to 35 civilians, including women and children.

The Yemeni news agency (Saba) quoted a local source as saying that the three ballistic missiles that targeted Al-Rawda neighborhood in the city of Marib, resulted in the death of two children and the wounding of 33 civilians, including 4 women and 5 children between the ages of 7 months and 16 years.

In addition, 12 houses were damaged, including 4 completely damaged, in addition to the destruction of 8 cars belonging to citizens in the neighborhood, according to the preliminary statistic, indicating that the search for victims is still underway under the rubble of the destroyed houses.

The source pointed out that the Houthi missile that fell on the family home of the girl, Ghazlan Faisal Ahmed Masoud, 4, and her brother, Raddad Faisal, two years old, separated their heads from the body while their mother was in a serious condition, expecting a high number of victims, as most of the injured are in serious condition, especially the child Rayan Radwan Yahya, 7 months, Asimah Abdul Karim Masoud, 12 years old, Hamas Mohammed Hassan, 16 years old, and Wissam Mohammed Hassan, 15 years old.

The source confirmed that the Houthi militia intensified during the past few days targeting residential neighborhoods with ballistic missiles in the governorate crowded with displaced people, with the aim of causing massacres, killing the largest number of civilians and terrorizing the population in light of the international silence.

 He pointed out that the ballistic missiles that the Iranian-backed Houthi militia have bombed residential neighborhoods in the districts of Madinah, Al-Wadi and Al-Juba during the past six days exceeded 15 ballistic missiles.
