Hundreds of Shabwa governorate residents gathered in a number of districts to demand the departure of the Brotherhood's authority and the urgent intervention of the Arab coalition to save the governorate from being handed over to the Houthi militia.

The city of Nisab witnessed a large gathering of tribal sheikhs, military and security figures and citizens to demand the departure of Ibn Adyo's authority and to investigate the reasons for handing over three districts to the Houthi group without a fight.

The demonstrators gathered in front of the house of Sultan al-Awaliq, Sheikh Awad Muhammad al-Wazir, and held a meeting that discussed the latest developments in the governorate and the importance of moving urgently before Ataq and the rest of the districts are handed over.

The participants stressed that the Brotherhood authority is cooperating with the Houthi militia, which handed over Bayhan, Usaylan and Ain to the group, and plans to hand over other areas in the coming days.

The demonstrators demanded the leadership of the Arab coalition to intervene quickly and stop the tampering of the Brotherhood and save Shabwa from handing over to the Iranian militias and work to empower the elite forces and the southern resistance, which is the force capable of defeating the Houthi militias.

In the Habban district, the community committee called on the people to participate in the sit-in camp to protest against the deteriorating conditions and the Houthi dangers threatening the governorate.

In the Al-Talh district, Sheikh Ali Omar Bahisami, the sheikh of the sheikhs of the Belaid tribes, called on the citizens to participate in the expanded meeting that will be held, tomorrow, Sunday, to study the situation the governorate is going through.

The call of the Sheikh of Belaid tribes comes within the framework of a wide interaction campaign taking place in Shabwa governorate, following the increasing Houthi dangers threatening the rest of the governorate in light of the betrayal of the Brotherhood’s authority.

The governorate is witnessing a wide popular movement after the Muslim Brotherhood's authority was handed over to the Bihan districts and its unwillingness to defend Ataq and the other districts.
