The joint forces incurred losses to the Houthi militia on two fronts in the western coast

A number of Houthi militia members were killed and others wounded, in the past hours, in violent clashes waged by the joint forces on the two fronts of "Saqm" in the Maqbna district, west of Taiz governorate, and in "Jabal Ras" southeast of Hodeidah governorate.

 A field source said that the joint forces had inflicted heavy losses on the Houthi militia in lives and equipment in the violent battles they waged with the militias on the Saqm and Jabal Ras fronts.

The source added that dozens of Houthis were killed by the joint forces' fire during the fierce clashes on the two fronts.

Earlier today, the Arab coalition announced the implementation of four air strikes on patrols carrying human reinforcements for the Houthi militia in the "Maqbna" district, west of Taiz governorate.

The raids resulted in the killing of 21 members of the Houthi militia, including a prominent leader, Abd al-Salam Yahya al-Mutawakil, who assumed the rank of colonel.
