In a new scandal for the United Nations, the United Nations supported the terrorist Houthi militia, which has killed more than 20,000 civilians through its mines planted everywhere, with an amount of $1.5 million under the pretext of implementing a demining program.

According to the so-called Abdul Mohsen al-Tawoos, who was appointed by the militia as Secretary-General of the so-called Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs, they agreed to allocate one million five hundred thousand dollars "as urgent assistance to expedite demining."

This is the second scandal, after the scandal of 2017, after the United Nations granted 20 four-wheel drive vehicles to a demining center affiliated with the Houthis in Hodeidah governorate, despite the knowledge of the international community that the Houthis used all support to plant more mines, which according to human rights reports amounted to 3 million mines  It killed more than 20,000 civilians.

While the National Demining Program issued three months ago that nearly 1,200 victims were killed by Houthi mines in the areas of the western coast of Yemen, the majority of whom were children.

On the other hand, the Yemeni street rose up against this scandal, accusing the United Nations of supporting Houthi terrorism to kill more Yemenis.

 Through the hashtag (#United Nations_Reward_for_Houthi_mines), a campaign was launched to denounce the United Nations' support for terrorism every time. Journalist Iyad Al-Sharabi said that the United Nations' support for the Houthis with one million five hundred thousand dollars opens the appetite of the Houthi priesthood to continue planting death and mines, knowing that mines return  It's in dollars, not penalties.

He added;  The role of the United Nations in Yemen has become suspicious and suspicious, as it supports the Houthi criminal with one million five hundred thousand dollars to use to finance his wars against civilians, and has provided him with cars and a special plane to transport militia leaders, and the Hodeidah forces were arrested, all to keep the Houthis in order to kill the Yemenis.

Political researcher, Abdullah Ismail, confirmed that millions of mines were planted by the Houthi terrorist group, and instead of international condemnation of this war crime, the United Nations pays tens of millions of dollars to those who planted them;  The United Nations rewards the criminal: sow more, we pay more.

The Turkish tweeter wrote in a tweet, that the United Nations, in its amounts that it gives to the criminal Iranian Houthi militia, is an encouragement to continue to manufacture mines and explosives and to kill the brotherly Yemeni people, and this is the money of the nations to the Houthis.

Journalist Riyadh Al-Ahmadi said, “A scandal is neither the first nor the last, and this development cannot be separated from the latest atrocities revealed by the developments of Hodeidah and the western coast, the Houthi mines that he planted in crazy quantities and types across roads, homes and schools, and the United Nations officially comes to finance the planting of mines.
