Shabwa Governor arrives at Seiyun Airport on the way back to Ataq

 Shabwa Governor, Sheikh Awad Al-Wazir Al-Awlaki, arrived on Wednesday at Seiyun Airport, on his way back to the provincial capital.

Interim President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi had dismissed the Brotherhood's governor, Muhammad Saleh bin Adio, who was involved in corruption and abuse cases, and in collusion with the Houthi militia, and appointed a prominent tribal leader in Shabwa, Awad al-Wazir, as his replacement.

The appointment of al-Awlaki as governor of Shabwa came within the framework of a broad political, military and tribal arrangement aimed at thwarting the plans of the Brotherhood and the Houthis in the governorate.

Earlier, qualitative forces from the Giants Brigades, reinforced with modern weapons, arrived in Shabwa, and were able to expel the Islah Brotherhood militias from Azzan, while their progress continued to liberate the entire governorate.
