On Thursday, 18 members of the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, were killed in an army ambush on the Kasara front, west of Marib Governorate, east of Yemen.

Military sources told NewsYemen that the government forces thwarted on Thursday an attack by the Houthi militia on the Kasara front, and burned the militia's vehicles and equipment.

The repulsion of the attack came in conjunction with intense artillery bombardment by the army on Houthi sites and gatherings in the south of the governorate.

The sources stated that raids of the Arab coalition destroyed three vehicles, including an armored vehicle, and the killing of the Houthi elements that were traveling in the Balk front.

On Thursday, the Houthi militia targeted the Al-Wadi district with a missile attack.

The sources indicated that a ballistic missile landed near the village of Al-Tahil, north of Al-Wadi District, without causing any injuries.
