Aden, NewsYemen, special:

An official statement issued by the Omani official authorities refuted the allegations made by the media of the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, and the terrorist Brotherhood, which spoke of Muscat's efforts to resolve the Yemeni crisis and end the war.

The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, on its official website, that the Sultanate of Oman coordinated with the relevant authorities in Sana'a - the Houthi militia - and after communicating with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to transfer the released detainees from Sanaa to Muscat on a plane belonging to the Royal Air Force of Oman, in preparation for their return to their countries.

The number of those released, according to the Omani Foreign Ministry's statement, was 12, including a Briton, a Filipino, 7 Indians, an Indonesian, a Myanmarese, and an Ethiopian.

On Friday, Houthi media announced that an Omani delegation had arrived in Sanaa, along with the militia delegation participating in the negotiations.  And that the Omani delegation's visit comes within the framework of "completing the Sultanate's prominent role in following up the armistice and seeking to stop the war, aggression and siege on the Yemeni people."

This media was accompanied by a wide Brotherhood promotion of what they called “the role of the Sultanate of Oman” in resolving the Yemeni crisis. Some even claimed that ending the war in Yemen would come from Oman and not from Saudi Arabia or the Emirates or through international efforts.

However, the Omani Foreign Ministry's statement refuted these allegations, and revealed that the delegation's visit aimed to complete the process of releasing foreigners who had been detained by the Houthi militia.

The Sultanate of Oman embraces on its territory all parties hostile to the legitimate government and the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE, specifically leaders of the Houthi militia, officials who were dismissed for their corruption and suspicious role during their work with legitimacy, leaders and activists affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen, the wing of Qatar and Turkey, who formed what has become known in the media as  Muscat cell.

Observers of the Yemeni issue unanimously agree on the suspicious role of the Sultanate of Oman in the Yemeni crisis, which was embodied in its embrace of all parties hostile to the Arab coalition, as well as facilitating the smuggling of weapons and drugs to Iranian militias in Yemen through its border lands with Yemen, as well as its territorial waters from which weapons boats depart, according to a British security investigation revealed  Earlier published (NewsYemen).
