Aden, NewsYemen:

The head of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission, Muhammad Al-Ghaithi, confirmed that the terrorist Houthi militia does not want peace, and lives on war, noting that the recent violations of the UN armistice are evidence that Al-Houthi does not want peace.

Al-Ghaithi said, in an interview with Al-Arabiya channel, today, Monday, that the legitimacy wants the truce to continue, and to be a prelude to a comprehensive peace that brings together all Yemenis.

He stressed that "as a country, we are ready for all scenarios, and if Al-Houthi chooses the option of war, this war will not be the same as the previous ones, because we are all on the same side."

He said, "The Presidential Command Council is the one who has the right to decide war or peace with Al-Houthi," noting that "the international community understands that the Houthi militia does not want peace."

He stressed that the international community is required to take more serious and clear positions with Al-Houthi if he does not make peace, indicating that the militias are no longer a threat only to Yemen, but to the region and the international community.

He explained that what the Houthis are doing threatens energy resources and shipping lines.

In addition, Al-Ghaithi said that the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission aims to bring together the views of the political forces that oppose the Houthi militia in Yemen.

He added that the commission also aims to unify the positions of the political forces towards fighting Al-Houthi and the peace process.

He explained that the commission is part of the process of communicating with the international community, and its members are leaders of political forces, parties and influential elites, noting that increasing the number of members is possible if necessary.
