Aden, NewsYemen, special:

Shakra forces loyal to the Brotherhood rejected a decision by the commander of the fourth region to assign a commander to a brigade in Abyan governorate.

Major General Fadel Hassan, commander of the military region, under the directives of the Vice-President of the Presidency Council, Major General Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, assigned Colonel Aidarous Abdel Rahim Al-Shaeri as the commander of the 39th Armored Brigade, succeeding Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Subaihi, who died months ago in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

Hours after the assignment decision, activists loyal to Shakra forces published a telegram to the so-called Abyan axis rejecting the decision.

The telegram demanded from the Abyan axis to rescind the decision because of what it argued that Colonel Al-Shaeri has not been in the brigade for a long time, stressing that it is not responsible for the consequences of the decision within the brigade, according to what was stated in the telegram.

The telegram indicated that the leadership of the axis had previously assigned another brigade commander.

This appears to be a rejection of the decisions of the Presidency Council and a rebellion against the state.

During the three weeks of appointing the Presidency Council, the position of these forces was ambiguous. Many of them were even talking about the loyalty of these forces to Hadi, despite his relinquishing power.

These forces are led by Hadi's son, Brigadier General Nasser Mansour, who is accused of great corruption.

Following Hadi's decision to take over power, these forces witnessed disruptions and events, as a number of leaders left the country after looting the camps.

Special sources said that the commander of the Special Forces in Abyan Governorate, Muhammad al-Auban al-Marmi, who is close to Hadi's family, looted his camp, sold weapons, left for the Egyptian capital, Cairo, and shut down his phone since Hadi announced his departure from power.

The past days also witnessed intense meetings of leaders in Shakra, and it does not seem that they were satisfied with the formation of the Presidential Council and the removal of Ali Mohsen from the leadership.

And on Monday, activists loyal to Shakra's forces spread rumors that the Leadership Council had refused to meet the governor of Abyan Abu Bakr Hussein and was being provoked by security forces in Aden.

On Tuesday, Abu Bakr Hussein denied rumors that he was being provoked and did not meet with the Leadership Council, stressing in a press statement that these rumors were not true.  And that he is doing his work and his activity naturally and with the support of the leadership of the Presidential Leadership Council headed by President Rashad Al-Alimi and all the members of the Council.

Pointing out that spreading rumors and confusion does not serve the situation in Abyan governorate, which has gone through very difficult conditions due to the wars it witnessed during the past years since the 2010 war and the wars that followed.

The leadership of the Presidential Council had invited the director of security in Abyan province, Brigadier General Ali Al-Dhib Al-Kazmi, to discuss the start of implementing the Riyadh Agreement and arranging the military and security establishment, but he refused to attend.

Sources close to Al-Kazmi said that he stipulated the entry of his forces into Abyan, as well as the entry of a force accompanying him to Aden, which was rejected.

The Deputy Chairman of the Leadership Council, Abu Zaraa Al-Muharrami, also called on the leadership of the Abyan axis to come to Aden and meet with him to discuss the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement, but the leadership of the axis had requirements for the entry of forces from the presidential protection to Aden and the security forces of Abyan to Zanzibar before the meeting.

Sources said that Al-Muharrami may visit Shakra in the coming days to meet with the leadership of the Abyan axis to discuss arrangements for implementing the security and military part of the Riyadh Agreement, according to what was stated in it.

Activists called for a serious stand before the start of the rebellion of these stationed forces, which were not used.

The process of restructuring these forces begins with implementing the Riyadh Agreement and changing the leadership of the axis first, and then changing all the leaders of the sectors in Shakra, and implementing the military and security part of the agreement as stipulated.
