Every step taken by the prominent leader of the Houthi terrorist militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, Muhammad Ali al-Houthi, represents a nail in the coffin of the republic, whose name remains in the northern governorates except for the flag, which has now been replaced by a green rag covering the roofs of most government institutions.

Muhammad al-Houthi is one of the most powerful Houthi leaders and the architect of the coup. He assumed the presidency of what was known at the time as the "revolutionary committees" that took control of the state's civil and security institutions before they were dissolved after their incursion into the corridors of the state and in conjunction with the formation of a party known as the "Political Council" in which he was appointed as a member.  .

However, Al-Houthi was not satisfied with the position of a member of the Political Council, but rather took over the judiciary in its various institutions, as well as the endowment sector, by forming what he called the "justice system" that he presided over despite not possessing the basics of judiciary or jurisprudence.

On the thirtieth of last January, Houthi media reported that Al-Houthi had settled three murder cases in the Dawran district of Dhamar Governorate, without referring to the judiciary for a decision.

The termination of these cases was based on the principle of tribal arbitration, in which the blood relatives in the three cases announced an amnesty for the perpetrators.

It is not excluded that the blood relatives were forced to concede, especially since the verdict was not issued by a criminal court, but rather came after a tribal meeting.

This is not the first time that Al-Houthi has interfered in the rulings of the judiciary, which he has now fully controlled. Rather, he has intervened in issues of land disputes in Sana'a, of which he plundered large areas, taking advantage of his new and illegal position.

It is noteworthy that Muhammad al-Houthi leads armed militias that carry out the functions of security authorities and participate in battles against government forces, in addition to civilian committees tasked with managing government institutions for his personal interest.
