Army shoots dead Houthi sniper in Taiz

A Houthi sniper was killed on Friday in the eastern area of the Republican Palace in Taiz province, a military source said.
The source added that the Houthi sniper targeted a number of innocent civilians in the last period, killing and injuring others.
Military clashes between the army and the Houthi militias broke out when the militias targeted the army's sites in Qahaban and Jabal al-Shaikh Saeed west Taiz province.
Sources said to Newsyemen that the Houthi militias suffered casualties during the violent confrontations that erupted after the attack.
The army forces captured two field commanders of the militias in the same front, known by Mohammed Abdullah, and the other the appointed security director of Jabal Habashi district by the militias.
