A son of the Islah Party's leader was appointed as a consul at the Yemeni Embassy in Malaysia, while he is only 25 years.

Nabil al-Asidi, a member of the Yemeni Journalists' Syndicate, revealed the appointment of Bilal Abdullah al-Akwaa, a son of the Brotherhood's former leader and former minister of electricity and energy, Abdullah al-al-Akwaa, as a consul at the Yemeni embassy in Kuala Lumpur.

Al-Asidi said that Bilal Al-Akwaa was appointed at the end of 2017 at the Yemeni Embassy in Malaysia during his father's tenure as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Electricity and Energy.

According to the journalist, the young man, 25-year-old, was promoted as the deputy consul early 2018, then he was promoted to be the consul at the embassy at the same year.
