A specialized team of the United Nations team visited the Red Sea Mills and the WFP food stores located in areas controlled by the Joint Resistance Forces in al-Hodeida city, west Yemen.

The UN team inspected grain silos at the Red Sea Mills, and the damage caused by the Houthi militias, backed by Iran, the source at the military media center at the National Resistance, the guards of the Republic, said.

He added that the team inspected silos containing 60,000 tons of wheat. The source pointed out that a part of the wheat had been damaged due to the long period of storage, and that one of the silos had been hit by mortar shells directly by the Houthi militias, causing the fire at the silos; the UN team had sampled all the silos so as to write a comprehensive report.

The team was also briefed on the great efforts exerted by the Joint Resistance Engineering Units in surveying, dismantling and demining the mines planted by the armed militias inside the yards of the silos, which exceeded to date more than 3,000 mines and explosive devices of different sizes sufficient to blow up the silos completely if a part of the landmines exploded.

In the same context, the UN team visited the WFP's stores on Sana'a-al-Hodeida road- Kilo 13, which the Houthi militias had looted and turned them into weapons stores before being defeated by the heroes of the Joint Resistance Forces.
