An oil sector in Hadramout Valley last week resumed its activity to export crude oil to Marib province without the knowledge of the local authorities in Hadramout province, sources said.

The sources at the Oil Company at Hadramout Valley revealed that the oil sector 9 in al-Khasha'a area in Hadramout valley resumed the production and export process.

The sources pointed out that the forces loyal to the Yemeni Vice President Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar, the military arm of the Yemeni Brotherhood in Yemen, (the Islah Party), and under their protection at the first military Region, resumed exports to Marib province.

The exports came after getting a deal with the Operator Company in Sector 9 of al-Khasha'a oil field in the province.

Oil and finance wars have provoked major battles since years, and the corruption of Oil Administration in the State of "Sana'a" is one of the reasons of the tension relation between the south and the north.

The mentality of the allies of Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar and the Brotherhood have not changed. This is a blatant interference by the Muslim Brotherhood in Marib, while the people of al-Khasha'a continue to be deprived of their rights, despite their entitlement to the oil privilege, who do not benefit from this oil sector other than diseases and epidemics.

Troops of the 107th brigade loyal to Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar in Marib province stormed on Saturday an oil company in Usailan district in Shabwa province, accompanied by a contractor and engineering team, aims to conduct a survey in the oil sector in the district.
