Houthi fighters enter Taiz to fight against Abu al-Abbas battalions

Informed sources said to Newsyemen that tribal gunmen entered Taiz city to fight alongside Sadiq Sarhan, the commander of the 22nd Infantry brigade, affiliated with the Islah party against Abu al-Abbas battalions. 

Sources said that more than 100 gunmen of the people of Mekhlaf area in Shara'b As-Salam in Taiz province stationed on 60th St., were mobilized by the son of Sadiq Sarhan currently are fighting under Ghazwan al-Mekhlafi along with the Security campaign. 

The Islah Party took out weapons that were stored in al-Ekhwa hotel and armed individuals to serve as fighters to fight alongside the Islah Party. 

Sources pointed out that Sadiq Sarhan, when asked to suspend the security campaign and allow the security committee to carry out its mission in the old city of Taiz so as to resolve the dispute with Abu al-Abbas battalions, Sarhan responded that these tribal groups irregularity he has no authority at them.

Leaders close to Sadiq Sarhan and Salem Farhan are staying with the Houthi militias in 60th and al-Hawban areas.
