The floods caused by heavy rains in Taiz province have recently caused considerable material damage to the Queen's camp for internally displaced persons, amid appeals to international and local humanitarian organizations and local authorities to rescue camp residents.

Local sources said the floods washed  256 tents away in a total and in a partial manner, while a two-month-old-baby-infant died after her family's tent collapsed as a result of torrential rains.

More than 800 people have been displaced from their areas into al-Kadaha area in Jabal Habashi district, while others could not return to their houses because of the landmines planted by the Houthi militias.

The camp recently received new families from al-Akhloud area in Maqbanah district in Taiz province.
