Socotra people demand to dismiss governor, reject Brotherhood's practices

Socotra experienced on Thursday a massive march, the third of its kind this month, denouncing the Brotherhood's presence in the Archipelago and its efforts to destabilize security and stability in the province.

The people of the province began to gather in the yard of the late Sa'ad Ali Salemin in the province capital of Hadibu.

A source underlined to NewsYemen that the protest demanded to dismiss the governor Ramzi Mahrous of the Islah Party, rejecting the practices pursued by the party to disrupt the security and stability of the island.

The Executive Body of the Local Leadership of the Transitional Council, held its periodic meeting, last Tuesday, and invited the people of the province to participate actively in the demonstration on Thursday.
