Shabwa Elite Forces accuses "Brotherhood Authority" of breaking Ataq agreement

Shabwa Elite Forces in Shabwa province, southeastern Yemen, announced Saturday that there had been no progress in the implementation of Ataq city agreement, concluded the agreement between the Local Authority in the city and the Elite Forces before 10 days.
The Shabwa Elite Forces in a statement, seen by NewsYemen, that underlined that the Local Authority and the Security committee evaded the deal and its terms, indicating that the Authority exercises more intransigence and delay, investing time to bring more military reinforcements.
The Elite Forces made clear that it has shown more flexibility and patience in the past in order to implement the calm as well as create an appropriate atmosphere for the mediation as a positive step towards achieving security and stability in Ataq city.
However, the Local Authority loyal to the Brotherhood are working to bring militias to the military camps, establishing new military sites, and deploying snipers on the rooftop of civilians' buildings inside Ataq city.
The Shabwa Elite Forces warned that its patience is running out and the situation will not bear more security breaches of the Brotherhood backed by Marib.
The Elite Forces said that it will act with all seriousness and strength as required by the security and military situation in Ataq, and will not wait for further violations in the city.
