New well in Mocha district to overcome salinity of drinking water

Water Project engineers started to dig a new well to overcome the salinity of drinking water in Mocha district in Taiz province.
It is worth to mention that two wells have been stopped working and feeding civilians in Mocha because the salinity of drinking water.
The new well is located in the east of Mocha city, in the largest groundwater reservoir in the area. The well will be dug only 40 m, rather than 60 m to avoid the salinity of water.
The villagers use water for free. The Coalition pays the water bill as well as electricity, while employees at the Water and Electricity institutions saw, it is a mistake to be paid by other party, they say one of the main causes of water depletion is not paying the bill of the monthly consumption.
