The massive military escalation in Hodeidah and on the Red Sea Coast of Yemen fronts by the Iran-backed Houthi militias, has paralized attempts for the UN mission to resume the work of the Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) under the General Michael Lollesgaard, after a pause of nearly three months, as the unprecedented clashes hustled the Sweden's semi-dead agreement since its birth

As the UN Mission and the Commission of Observers have never nade any condemnation for the military escalation, the Iran-backed Houthi militias have expanded the pace of battles and fronts in Hayes, Tahita, Al-Jabaliya and Al-Jah south of Hodeidah to Sana'a Street, towards the liberated areas and the positions of the joint forces, through the advanced cross-lines inside the city of Hodeidah

Recently, the unprecedented military escalation in the city of Hodeidah has turned from night to night, as was in the past months to the morning and the daytime, through the launching of large-scale attacks by Iran-backed Houthi. In turn, the joint resistance, which exercised the utmost restraint to avoid the possibility of armed confrontation, have been forced to deal with these attacks

The attacks and reinforcements of the Houthi militias have for weeks adopted a clear approach of cutting down the main lines and fronts of the Red Sea Coast of Yemen, exhausting the military garrisons and draining the troops stationed from Hayes to Al-Jabalya, Tahita and Al-Jah with the mobilization of troops within the city of Hodeidah before escalating the military situation in these fronts and in Ad-Duraihemi and the southern outskirts of the city, igniting the cross-lines and launching large-scale in attempts to achieve any progress or breakthroughs on the ground

The escalation of the Iran-backed Houthi militias have moved to the city of Hodeidah in the past four weeks after months of escalation, depletion and exploitation on the fronts of the Red Sea Coast of Yemen and south of Hodeidah, without achieving any breakthroughs or recovering any areas they were expelled from

It should be noted in this context that the most violent attacks that ever launched in the city of Hodeidah and Ad-Duraihemi came in conjunction with the resumption of the UN envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffith, for his job after more than two months of a pause, due to the controversy in connection with his work method and catastrophic consequences of the port play in the second version and unilateral withdrawal or "Change of uniform" as if the new start of the mission of the envoy and the UN mission in Hodeidah gave the Houthi militias fuel for the new escalation

From the very beginning, the end was quite clear; the Sweden's agreement gave precious savings to militias that had invested time to do everything that would enhance their military options, while others preferred to chasing windmills and blind eye to the facts on the pretext of peace altruism. Even when there was no evidence that the militias could bow to peace

Lies have evaporated and fantasies have vanished and one fact remains that impossible to overcome: "The peace that is more expensive than war, is the peace expected from the Houthi militias"

On the debris of the illusions, the choices must be clear and decisive, to ensure that no left behind the choice and decision of the militias: " A full war or a unilateral ceasefire"
