Taiz, NewsYemen:

A photojournalist complained of threats to liquidate him in Taiz governorate.

Photojournalist Ahmed Basha said that he and his family are living under threat of liquidation from an armed group in the old city of Taiz, due to the land robbers.

He pointed out that the armed group had threatened him with liquidation if he was not allowed to take the yard between his family's homes.

Basha said: This morning is bleak, I live in it and my family is threatened with death and liquidation from an armed group and unruly individuals from the land squatters in the Old City, either you allow us to take the remaining yard that separate the family homes or we kill everyone who tries to stop us.

He added: Today I am looking for the state that I fought for and watered it from my blood. Many times I am looking for it to assume its responsibilities and defend the rights of its citizens.

It is noteworthy that the Brotherhood militia controls parts of the liberated Taiz governorate.
