Yemeni activists have expressed their anger at the defense of the UN envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths, against the Houthi militia.

Griffiths defended the Houthis, on Thursday, urging Washington to cancel the designation of the group "terrorist".

Politician Abdullah Ismail called for a decisive government stance against the practices of Griffiths, who said that he dances on the remains of Yemenis and strives to kill their cause and the continuous conspiracy against their legitimacy.

Muhammad al-Hakimi also called on the legitimacy not to deal with Griffiths and saw that "one of the reasons that prolong the war in Yemen through the false peace initiatives that he launches at every setback for Houthi to save him."

Rashad Al-Sufi said: Martin Griffiths defends the Houthis more than the Houthis themselves, this envoy abandoned his neutral international role and became a party to the conflict with his clear bias towards the Houthi militia and his coverage of the crimes of this militia and providing briefings to the Security Council completely counter to reality.
