Head of the Aden Center: The visit of the American delegation to Shabwa has nothing to do with gas and oil

The head of the Aden Center for Strategic Research and Statistics, Hussein Hanshi, explained the real reason for the visit of the Chargé d'Affairs of the US Embassy in Yemen and the US envoy to Shabwa Governorate.
In a post on Facebook, Hanshi said that the recent US visit to Shabwa and Hadramout governorates is related to the ongoing efforts to hold an expanded conference in Riyadh, and has nothing to do with gas and the Balhaf facility, as is rumored in media channels and social networking sites.
He added that the United States of America is not concerned with the gas crisis, but rather Europe, and Europe has possible alternatives represented in Algeria, Egypt and Israel, and even Qatar and Iran are not among the potential for geographical, logistical first and then political reasons.
Hanshi stated that the Balhaf facility in Shabwa is a French project for Total and not an American one, and an American ambassador, but a French one, will not come if the matter is related to gas, and France and America are on an undeclared rivalry and neither of them interferes in the territories of the other's influence and projects.
